A leading education and property development company which hosts over 800 training days annually, offers courses on a wide range of property income strategies via both online and in-person events. For in-person events, the team faced a major administrative burden: manually recording attendance in Salesforce for 300–400 attendees at multi-day events. Each day’s check-in required individual updates, consuming valuable time and introducing the risk of human error—ultimately limiting the sales team’s efficiency and capacity to engage with prospects.
To address this, Cloud Spectrum developed a QR code–based attendance tracking system tailored for the company’s events. Upon registration, attendees receive a unique QR code via email for each event day. When they arrive, a sales agent scans the code using a custom-built QR Code scanner, which instantly logs attendance in the system. This automation eliminates the need for manual updates, allowing the sales team to focus on engagement rather than admin tasks.
